Blizzard Embellish - EMBELLISHED!

untitled Regular poster dg has caught the latest Birdbrain – and thrown it back, making a matching challenge for regular diehards.

You know the drill – VIP’s first name from one word below, surname form another. I’ve cracked Tom Hanks (atomized + thanksgiving) to give you boost. As for the rest, I’m not sure. I’ll need to unravel dg’s devilry in tandem with you.

I haven't been that 'regular' recently - probably not enough puzzle fibre digested. (I'll put up answers /hints later today)

BTW DA, did you see the 'IT Crowd' the other day? It's not everyone's cuppa but they had a character go onto the UK 'Letters and Numbers' aka 'Countdown'. It was silly but amusing.
