Got 'em. Hey DA, I reckon this will bring some saucy clues for the 7th word!

***SPOILER COMING***

Somewhat buxom, in flower! (6)

Mr X — 21 January at 12:14PM

Some cute clues in that lot. ^ was a particular favourite.

XXX WARNING - SPOILER ALERT XXX

The quality of Lolita murmuring "Young humour"

SK — 21 January at 12:21PM

Yep. I liked 4 and 6 in particular.

XXX SPOILER ALERT XXX

Ripe strains from fresh juice?

SK — 21 January at 12:26PM

...or a slightly "saucier" version-

Cherry to be picked for fresh juice, we hear?

Boniface — 21 January at 01:00PM

Yes, 6 was my fave here too. Again in the same vein -

In flower, trimmed butt up!

SK — 21 January at 04:23PM

I wasn't a fan of 3...a bit too obvious (even for my simple brain).

Nice &lit concept Boniface!

Another idea-

Prime suspect in blue

Boniface — 21 January at 04:45PM

Nice clueing SK. And another idea:

Tomatoey deli buns, back without the fuzz

Boniface — 21 January at 05:12PM

Now uniting the ripe, fresh juice and tomato concepts (nods to SK and Mr X):

Fresh juice apparently a feature of ripe tomatoes.

Sam — 21 January at 08:03PM

This time only 3/6 – but agree with SK, no. 6 is a gem.

Sam — 22 January at 09:02AM

Any hints for 2, 4, and 5? I'm guessing from your clues above, their second letters might be L, E, or N?

Nib — 22 January at 09:28AM

Only 3 for me, too.

Ripe deli bun swirl.

Nib — 22 January at 09:31AM

I think we need to swap some answers, Sam. :P

4. Think 'Man with title' first (only a few options there) and 'that can't go straight' is a clever attribute to one of those titles in a different field.

5. I first thought capital as a capital letters anagram, but... the answer is in a recent Wikileaks song I did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnE77hZ8hYE

I thought 2 might be slags but haven't settled on a sure thing yet.

Sam — 22 January at 10:06AM

Nib, for 1 you are looking for a flirt; and the sailor in 6 would be very lonely on that particular ship...

I can think of lots of titles, but unfortunately none with E or N as the second letter...

SK — 22 January at 10:12AM

Sam, the man with a title was close to home for me (being my surname)

Nib — 22 January at 10:53AM

1. I'm thinking either minx or sire... either grabbing 'n' (the 'centre of attention') to make 'mix' (be sociable) or grabbing the n from 'siren'.

Sam — 22 January at 12:54PM

doh, now I get it, was thinking what he might have been called, sir - rather than what he is - especially in that other field Nib! thanks - and I had minx.

XXX CRUDE ALERT XXX

Penile implant (lump removed), felt tip-top looking hot-to-trot

Mauve — 23 January at 04:10AM

Boniface was right from the start. So here's my saucy offering for word 7:

Sexy bulge in strangely not giving head (6)

...and although I liked #6 the best, #5 was pretty close

Sam — 23 January at 09:31AM

Can someone put me out of my misery with 2 and 5?

Sam — 23 January at 09:32AM

sorry, just 5

Boniface — 23 January at 12:58PM

Sam, #5 is an anagram of part of a flower.

Mauve — 23 January at 03:07PM

Sam - a clue for 5 and the reason I like it is its use of a 2- letter colloquial synonym for "what"

Sam — 23 January at 03:29PM

Thanks Boniface and Mauve, finally got it!

Boniface — 23 January at 04:14PM

***CRUDE ALERT***

Hot lube in crack?

Told you they were saucy!

JPR — 23 January at 06:57PM

Eligible Brit reggae lads get nine in semi-tone

JT — 24 January at 11:07AM
