Mho Awards
“Not quite sure where this storm is heading,” said JD. Me neither, JD. But after a brief mho, I realised things were going backwards, and pretty well. Congratz – you made some classy U-turns across the week, turning one word into its opposite by running things right to left.
While I did vow a series of prize categories, I now realise that’s a fib. Or a wov. Since the taxonomy got too hard. So let’s toast the Ten Best, and realise that X is the Sultan of Switchbacks, but only just.
So, in order of appearance:
LEVEL = uneven [Mr X]
MARGANA = ordered [JD]
KNOB = don’t have sex [SK]
ALUCARD = a blood donor [Mr X]
SUMARONGI (pundit) and TIDPUN (ignoramus) [a personal fave from JS]
DELRANG = straight & smooth [ML]
DOPI = a vinyl collector [ML]
MODNOC = Fertility aid [JD]
LOOC = daggy [PRS]
RATAVA – a well written, low-budget indie movie with great acting [Mr X]
Parc effort all round. A new Storm – moving forward – next week.

I'd love to take credit for the very clever definition of KNOB, but it was SK, not me. I'd like to say that my mind is not twisted enough, but I think just not twisty enough!

Thanks SB - honest if not twisted....BONK/KNOB is rightfully SK's devilry.
Have corrected the record, though it doesn't alter our podium array.
