Here are my guesses at the intials of either the authors or portrayers of the detectives in question. Just to make it a bit less of a give away I won't state which is a writer & which an actor:

5 JT
6 IR
7 GKC
8 TS (could also be KB but I think that ice cream's been discontinued)
9 MC
10 HB and MS
11 AL and RM
