The Wheel Deal
For reasons of geography or devotion to The X-Factor, plenty of you couldn’t make the Wheeler evening last month, hearing yours truly bang the crossword drum. I’d love to say ha-ha, stiff Bega, you just missed out on something unique, a wanton meander beyond description, beyond reproduction, beyond words – but the Wheeler’s tech crew have stolen that chance. Since here is the lion’s share of that same session, from Bill Leak to a bloke called Aeschylus, all 43:58 minutes of it.
