XXX Spoiler alert XXX
To get the ball rolling, here are my solutions just using initials at this stage:
1 CC
2 RA
3 SC
4 SD
5 ?
6 ?
7 RH
8 BB
9 ?
10 ?
11 ?

And another one:
15 Faint praise? (7,7)
Alec Ihm — 20 February at 05:06PM
Number one is obvious. Haven't looked at any others yet though...
Sam — 20 February at 05:08PM
Had the same Boniface, except for 8 (thanks for the hint) and stuck on the same - though thought 13 might be SO - though obscure.
Found two more in trying to sort the others:
Dodges plague (6,6)
Counter examines (7,7)
Alec Ihm — 20 February at 05:08PM
Got number two and three. Going well...
Alec Ihm — 20 February at 05:08PM
Number four as well...
Alec Ihm — 20 February at 05:27PM
One for contemplation upon:
Colourful wild ass (6,6)
Red small measures (7,7)
Spun disaster (7,7)
Splinter (7,7)
Maid (6'1,7)
Included meridian (8,8)
Distort composer (8,8)
I've also got OLYMPIAN and PALIMONY but I'm not sure how to clue it.
Alec Ihm — 20 February at 05:48PM
Haven't got any more, though on the way I've found these...
Counter criminals (7,7)
Park backwards (7,7)
Thinks of reply (7,7)
Table mail (7,7)
As well as AGAINST ANTI-SAG which is a bit awkward.
Alec Ihm — 20 February at 05:50PM
Got a good one if it isn't bending the rules too much...
Burning with rage (3,3,6)
Boniface — 20 February at 06:57PM
Only 5 to go:
1 CC

@Alec:
How about Oversexed god's parental duty?
It's a lovely pairing, given the legendary (literally) reputation Zeus had with women!
Sam — 21 February at 08:36AM
Spoilers - probably not!
Boniface - curious to know what your answer was to #13 - I had 'suasory ossuary' which seems a bit of a stretch.
Also, with #10 could it be 'respond ponders' (which I used for 'counter-examines' thinking it wasn't correct) - as in 'big pond users'?????
Boniface — 21 February at 09:15AM
XXX Spoiler Alert XXX
Sam, my answer for #13 was PROCESS CORPSES.
#10 needs to be 6,6 but I like your thought process. I've looked at 6-letter words like online, dating, kisses etc. but haven't found the answer yet. I'll keep chipping away.
JT — 21 February at 09:30AM
10 is TD, working on the final trio...
JT — 21 February at 09:37AM
King conspiracy (5, 5)
Boniface — 21 February at 09:39AM
Hi JT - I'd considered TRADES DATERS but thought it a bit tenuous - is that what you had?
JT — 21 February at 09:43AM
Yes it is. Seems a reasonable description of the site's function, but i could be stretching.
DA — 21 February at 09:44AM
Morning all, just dropping by. Some neat solving so far, though RSVP.com.au is not TRADES DATERS, nor a TD phrase. (As solid a stab as it is.)
Faint praise (LANGUID LAUDING) is sublime. Is King conspiracy a HEROD HORDE?
Sam — 21 February at 10:06AM
how about LOVERS SOLVER?
Sam — 21 February at 10:11AM
or JT is it ELVIS LIVES?
DA — 21 February at 10:31AM
LOVERS SOLVER is an even better stab, Sam. Maybe I should offer the answer's initials? Or a more subtle clue - if you wish - lies below:
[SPOILER ALERT]
The two words definining RSVP.com.au share their initial.

Sam — 21 February at 02:08PM
Mauve - your adder was a SERPENT PRESENT?
Mauve — 21 February at 02:40PM
Correct Sam. I mean Boing!
Sam — 21 February at 02:52PM

Boniface — 22 February at 09:18AM
Most macho maladies (8,8)
Manliest ailments
Least languid infidels (8,8)
Hastiest atheists
I added Gayest RIPs (8,8) to these but don't think it got thru your filter...
DA — 22 February at 09:28AM
Neat work Mauve + Sam. As for that spam lint, Boniface, HAPPIEST EPITAPHS. A touch of oxymoron, which I like.
A few more supersize specimens -
Allure of obscurity (8,8)
Burrito By The Bay (8,8)
Sam — 22 February at 09:35AM
