Desert Australia originally developed from a rich glen, first to last.
(Arrernte or Arunta being a Central Australian language. Thanks DA for the exposure to Aboriginal languages. I found attempting to learn Alyawarra and Pitjanjatjara challenging but enjoyable .. like cryptics: prefixes and suffixes, only there are also curly infixes, and more cases than Latin, and different ways of looking at the world.)
