Word of the Week: Etaoin Shrdlu
ETAOIN SHRLDU – [???] – sequence created by the two left-hand columns of Linotype keys, used by typesetters to signal copy error. [1930s journo slang] Subbies often missed seeing the etaoin shrldu warning, thus allowing the gobbledygook to run to press.

Like the cricket reference, but strictly speaking it's not a test. Tweak of def:
Error in text message: Shoulder aint broken.

Sail round the rocks and make sure not to copy error
DA — 29 November at 06:44AM
Sweet anagram, that last one SK - though you may be taking a creative leap to imply our ETAOIN SHRDLU is a verb, as the definition element reads.
(The other Herald tack seems to open the way to cosy &lit with a bit more deep-tissue massaging.)

Agree DA....both need work. I was trying to work a clue around "Stuffed copy (def) of Herald into...." but ran out of time and brain cells.
