Connect-4
14 September, 2012
As voting continues in Operation Myops, I’ve been toying with a Wordwit idea for the Herald that could be fun to play as a troupe. Let’s call it Connect-4, where a block of four letters slides from the start of a six-letter word, to the tail. For example, a regal Norseman is a KINGLY VIKING, while an arbitrary task is a RANDOM ERRAND.
See if you can crack this septet – and feel free to add your own, with byline+number to keep things traceable. (Oh, and try to avoid the obvious overlaps like BEHEAD HEADER, or RELINE LINERS etc.) Have fun.
DA1 – Chapel waif
DA2 – Pub wander
DA3 – Heavenly drug?
DA4 – Hamper portrait
DA5 – Subjects for suckers?
DA6 – Turn into farce…
DA7 – …and regrets it?
