Doggerel

Cameo Dabbler, name of Nib, dropped me a line this week to say he’s busy playing a pirate in Penzance, as well as applying his spoofery to a few more Youtube projects. (And if you are not among the 292,000 people to marvel at Nib’s invention, and his Lynch-like pop clip, then head for Youtube and try Enter The Ginger.)
But the other reason Nib was writing was to add to the week’s animalia. Here’s a doggerel he composed, a zoological ditty you need to solve, with the answer embedded as well. Try this:
Some call me a dog or a duckling or snail
Some call me a maggot or a monkey’s tail
I’m called little mouse and the miaow of a cat
And the trunk of an elephant, so where’s my name at?!
