What’s going on? Birdbrain 288-A? All because I’d only just posted a pre-posted Brainer from a few years back, as spotted by dg. (See below.) Hence this week, as a Christmas bonus, you get two puzzles for the price of one. Kinda fitting when you consider this particular poser deals with twins.
So, to unravel this Birdbrain, each clue below has two possible answers, where the letters provided in brackets are interchangeable in the same position. For example, Airless (5-M/F) equals MUSTY and FUSTY. Lengths are also given to make life a little easier – but some of these are tricky. Can you figure out the nine fraternal twins?
